It is with great sadness that MAS shares news of the passing of Klaus Keil. Klaus was an early proponent for a national society dedicated to electron probe microanalysis, which has evolved to our current MAS.
NAMS (https://namsmicroscopy.com/) is excited to be filling both a geographical and vocational void, merging Electron Microscopy, Mass Spectrometry Imaging, and Light Imaging in Southern NY, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania.
This will be our first meeting in three years, due to the pandemic.
