The Affiliated Regional Societies (AReS) and MAS-Sponsored Speaker Committee was established as an information resource for the AReS and to provide, at no charge, a renowned speaker for one technical meeting per year for an AReS.

Kerry is a Physical Scientist in the Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology (CNST) NanoFab User Facility at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). She manages the NanoFab’s SEM, XRD, AFM and sample preparation laboratories. Prior to joining NIST Kerry worked at the Major Analytical Instrumentation Center at the University of Florida where she worked with faculty and students in the areas of microstructural analysis of materials. Her research focused on Nano Toxicology, specifically the uptake of nanoparticles by cells and tissues.
